This Privacy Policy of SigNEX and its software describes how we collect, use, store, or otherwise process personal information about clients, who use our mobile applications, websites, APIs, products, or services. By using our services, you understand that we will collect and use your personal information provided by clients as described in this Privacy Policy. Please note that, to use our services and its software, you authorize SigNEX to collect and record your information, such as names, mobile numbers, devices you use and locations you were when digitally signing, that proves the validity of the digital signing process, which is our core functionality. SigNEX helps its clients to create, send, complete, reject, display digital signing workflows and show the validity of digitally signed documents or transactions. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any other third-party software that you may use, after getting a digitally signed document or any deliverable, including those which we have linked in SigNEX and its software. If you do not choose to provide us with certain personal information, you will not be able to use SigNEX and its software.

Categories of personal information you may provide with are,

  • Identifiers - Includes NIC or SSN, name, address, profile picture, signature
  • Contact information - Email address, mobile number
  • Geo-location - Physical location
  • Other - Occupation, employer

Categories of personal information we may automatically collect are,

  • Device - Unique device identifiers, device attributes, browser type, precise geo-location
  • Subscription - Client id, serial number

Please note that geo-location is mandatory for digitally signing process, and if you chose to deny or disallow, you won’t be able to use our digital signing feature, which is the core functionality of SigNEX. We will only share your personal information only where permitted to do so by law and we hereby attest that we will take appropriate steps to ensure that your personal information continues to be protected. We consider it’s our utmost responsibility to protect your personal information. Hence, we work hard to make sure your personal information is secure and we have employed administrative, technical and physical security measures such as encryption, multi-factor authentication, and proprietary controls. We do not store passwords of the users of our client subscriptions. Password authentication is performed securely against the user repository of the client. While we store workflow documents securely, using our mobile application and website, you can download and share individual documents. Profile picture is not enforced for facial recognition purposes but for only storing for displaying across SigNEX platform, for several use cases, such as signing. When you create an account with SigNEX platform, we make sure we keep your personal and other information until the client subscription is active. Depending on the agreement with the client subscription, we may delete your personal information. Occasionally, we may update this Privacy Policy and that is to accommodate new technologies, new features, industry practices or regulatory and legal requirements.
